We are currently looking for a Mechanical Engineer EXPERT who will bring a wealth of experience and advanced skills to our projects. In this role, you will play a critical part in the design, development, and optimization of complex mechanical systems and components, ensuring the highest standards of functionality, reliability, and quality throughout the product lifecycle.
Main Responsibilities: Within the activities to be performed but not limited to: Responsible for ensuring the functionality, reliability and quality of these systems through all phases of product development. Will be focused on the Trunk (trunk), Tailgate (tailgate), Frunk Systems with the following specific ativities Design interiors commodities (instrument panel, door trim, seating, center console, sun visors, hard trim, soft trim, etc.) Implement mounting systems, GD&T strategies and rib patterns. Design and integration of additional kennels and features. Perform load studies and interface analysis. Develop Class A surface sections and support 3DX versions. Update 3D structures as required. Requirements Mandatory Skills: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Minimum of 8 years of experience Advance English level (MUST) Experience in the interiors commodities (instrument panel, door trim, seating, center console, sun visors, hard trim, soft trim, etc.) (MUST) Strong undersanding of CATIA V6 (3D Experience or 3DX) for developing automotive components (MUST) Strong experience with injection Molding (for interior systems). Nice to have: Strong understanding of GD&T and experience in creating detailed engineering drawings. Parametric Modeling, GSD ( Ground Sampling Distance), and Part Design workbenches. Experience with trunks is a plus Soft Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills (technical and non-technical) Autonomous Able to manage multiple simultaneously responsibilities and projects, while being mind of deadlines Must be task oriented, detail oriented and Make Sound Decisions Highly motivated individual with excellent communication, problem solving, organizational skills, excellent relationship building skills with the ability to work in a cross functional team environment at all levels.
