This role is also responsible for conducting general internal audits_**.**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**- The duties listed below are intended only as examples of the various types of work that you may be asked to perform. You may be asked to perform other duties as assigned from time to time_.- Advise management on labor contracts, worker grievances, and disciplinary procedure.- Lead meetings between management and union representatives all levels- Draft proposals and rules regulations and notice in advance laws changes coming.- Ensure that human resources policies are consistent with union agreements and federal labor laws.- Provide advice and guidance to management as needed during labor relations collective bargaining agreement negotiations.- Oversee collective bargaining procedures, including drafting, reviewing, and modifying proposals, verifying legal aspects, and suggesting additional rules and regulations based on law.- Coordinate with HR and other departments to create and sustain positive employee relations and facilitate effective communications between employees and management.- Develop and coordinate improvement projects related to reducing absenteeism and turnover, and strength employee satisfaction.- Present information briefings for management related to headcount and DL and IDL, multiple shifts and any information related.**Supervisory Responsibilities - List Teams/Groups**- Labor Relations Team*****Qualifications - Knowledge & Experience**- Minimum 5-7 years of relevant labor relations experience.- Experience in labor matters in manufacturing companies with labor union activity- Advanced fluency in English speaking and writing.- Knowledge of wages, collective bargaining, union dues, employee benefits, and overtime pay- Team player and strong communication skills- Listening skills to understand points made by employees and respond appropriately to issues
