Job Responsibilities include:
- Assisting with the review of customer specifications.
- Review of existing equipment condition, drawings, etc.
- Selection of Solar's turbomachinery equipment to meet the customer's objectives, proposal preparation, and pricing.
- Ensuring compatibility with the newly proposed upgrades and turning the job over to business management with good technical and commercial definition so that it can be executed efficiently.
Training plan includes:
- Overview of control systems for gas turbines.
- Dynamic characteristics of the gas turbine engines.
- Gas compressor equipment selection, including rotational and aerodynamic considerations.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Currently in the process of receiving an Engineering from an accredited university or Master's degree in the following disciplines: Mechanical, Aerospace, or Electrical Engineering.
- A grade-point average of 3.2 or higher on a 4.0 scale (80 of 100).
- Entering your last year of studies prior to anticipated graduation.
- Demonstrate advanced English communication skills (verbal and written).
- Sense of urgency and organizational skills to work with multiple projects and competing priorities.
Demonstrated ability to work independently or as part of a team and complete assigned tasks in a timely manner.
