Descripción de la empresaBosch was founded in Stuttgart in1886 by Robert Bosch (1861-1942) and for over 130 years has been distinguished by a unique corporate culture based on solid values that drive us to improve every day. Our products, present in a wide variety oflands, contribute to improve the quality of life of millions of people.Descripción del empleoThe simulation engineer works within the system engineering group to derive requirements for current and future powertrain components and subsystems, and to support the component engineering groups in detailed analysis of the component behavior under realistic engine and vehicle scenarios.Manage and follow up activities for development of new projects in order to accomplish with internal and external customer requirements according to its specifications.1. Responsible for performing 3D-CFD simulations of different components and subsystems using state of the art computer based simulation systems, processes, methods and standards in PS.2. Support the development of electrified powertrains by supporting the design teams with 3D-CFD analysis, e. g. improving the design of the cooling system efficiency by optimizing air flow of heat exchanger through front grill, body or underbody3. Create and evaluate 3D-CFD simulations of different product designs used by the different customers.4. Further develop and improve the methodology for CFD-simulation of components of different conventional and electrified powertrain systems5. Promote safety health and environment protection according to IS0 14001/OHSAS 18001.**Requisitos**:- Related Engineering degree required (Master desirable), e.G. Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, etc.- Language: Advanced (technical) English (written and oral), German (desirable)- Experience with 3D-CFD simulation tools (e.G. Ansys CFX / Fluent)- Experience with CAD tools (e.G. NX, Catia, SolidWorks)- Knowledge of powertrain systems- Knowledge on cooling systems, thermal efficiency, heat convection, conduction and radiation- Communication and presentation skills (in English), required- Programming skills, desirable (e.G. Python, Matlab)- Knowledge on linux systems, desirableInformación adicionalIn the Systems Engineering group we work as a diverse and multidisciplinary team, results oriented, driven by the technical challenges for present and future mobility problems. We work with hybrid working model and flexible hours, allowing a good balance between our professional and personal goals. We embrace diversity and promote the international cultural exchange through constant exchange with colleagues from other parts of the world.
