.3PO Procurement Operations Specialist Description -Job SummaryThis role is responsible for driving the efficient procurement of goods and services required for the organization's operations, contributing to the overall success of the procurement function. The role leads the implementation of supplier development plans, maximizing purchasing leverage and enhancing supplier performance. The role drives strategic initiatives to lead process standardization and optimize procurement operations.Responsibilities
- Provides complex-level procurement support using subject matter expertise and knowledge of multiple technologies.
- Solves complex issues and drives tactical and strategic initiatives, such as leading process standardizations, executing program strategies, coordinating integration of small acquisitions.
- Monitors programs, delivery solutions, key metrics, and process-oriented tasks; identifies issues and proposes solutions with limited guidance.
- Manages the deployment of business processes and technical capabilities by suppliers and partner groups, facilitating smooth operations.
- Optimizes spend with external suppliers, generating procurement value through negotiation and strategic partnerships.
- Collaborates with or leads teams to maintain and enhance the current business objectives, such as cost management.
- Provides procurement process design for the organization, optimizing procurement operations.
- Provides independent analytic and strategic support to drive organizational goals.
- Develops and supervises junior-level procurement staff, fostering their professional growth and development.
- Provides comprehensive training and support to various teams within the organization regarding the procurement process.Education & ExperienceRecommended:
- Four-year or Graduate Degree in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
- Typically has 4-7 years of work experience, preferably in procurement, category management, operations, or a related field or an advanced degree with 3-5 years of work experience
