In this role, you will be responsible for the engineering, design, development, and release of various components and systems.If you have a passion for engineering and possess strong problem-solving skills, this is an excellent opportunity to further your career and gain valuable experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.ACTIVITIES MAY INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO:Interface with cross-functional teams to design and develop functional solutions that achieve design requirements.Support by releasing engineering documents related to product design/development such as the Design Failure Mode & Effects Analysis (DFMEA), Design Verification Plan & Report (DVPR), and Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA) and test reports.Follow timelines and drive programs to meet deliverables.Execute design for manufacturing processes and coordinate assembly processes with manufacturing engineering.Work with team members to coordinate projects from design through production startup including prototype/pre-production builds, testing, and establishment of specifications until launch and after the launch.Early Computer Aided Design (CAD) creation and development modeling (Catia / NX).Generate CAD and 2D drawings for components including GD&T (Release internal component drawings, assembly drawings, and customer drawings).Perform product design activities according to internal and external specifications.Support design and verification activities including creation and edition of BOMs, drawings, calculations, and change requests.Minimum Requirements:Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or MBA.3 to 5 years of experience in Mechanical Design and automotive industry (product design or engineering).Knowledge in Product Lifetime through internal and external milestones.Experience in Mechanical Design and automotive industry (product design or engineering).Knowledge or experience of CAN/LIN bus and circuit analysis.Understanding of Bluetooth, WiFi protocols, USB.CAD systems experience or knowledge (NX/Teamcenter & Catia).Automotive Interior Product Design components/systems design/development/releasing experience
