In this position, you will be responsible for overseeing the quality aspects of body exterior components for automotive applications, ensuring compliance with both customer specifications and regulatory requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesImplement actions to improve Cost Per Unit and warranty spend for Body Exterior systems.Track and analyze quality data to identify and address high-impact concerns.Lead and monitor Total Value Management (TVM) actions for cost reduction and process improvements.Oversee validation tests for all cost reduction initiatives related to Body Exterior systems.Ensure proper execution of manufacturing processes for Body Exterior quality ideas.Monitor and report key metrics such as Cost Per Unit (CPU) and Repairs per 1000 units (R/1000).Validate that all quality improvement initiatives meet company and industry standards.Create and manage comprehensive status reports on all quality projects.Minimum QualificationsEducation:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.Experience:1-2 years of experience in automotive quality engineering, specifically in Body Exterior systems.Experience leading cost reduction and warranty improvement initiatives.Technical Skills:Proficiency in Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Lean Manufacturing principles.Experience with Total Value Management (TVM) and cost optimization methodologies.Strong knowledge of validation testing and manufacturing processes.Familiarity with automotive quality standards (e.G., ISO 9001, IATF 16949).Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.G., Excel, Minitab, or equivalent).Soft Skills:Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Strong communication and collaboration abilities across cross-functional teams.Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.Welcome to the Home of Engineers!Benefits:Base SalaryMajor Medical Insurance (includes dental and vision plans)15 days of Christmas bonus25% vacation premium12 vacation days (starting from the first year)Social SecurityFood Vouchers#J-18808-Ljbffr
