Listed on London Stock Exchange; Member of the FTSE 250 Index.ResponsibilitiesThe Production Supervisor Role reports directly to the Operations Manager. Responsibilities include organizing, coordinating, and supervising the daily operations and activities of multiple production departments on multiple work shifts; and performing related work as assigned.The 3rd Shift Supervisor has direct responsibility for the safe and efficient day-to-day running of the Production Teams.Ensure that all Health & Safety at work regulations and Company thinkSAFE / Environmental, Health & Safety policies are complied with at all times.Maintain a safe workplace through observations, enforcement of safety rules and policies, and communication of potential hazards and safety issues in order to be addressed appropriately. Lead and follow the thinkSAFE program and requirements.Be a trained First-Aid Responder and provide first aid in the case of minor injury or illness on the shift.Ensure tools, materials, and supplies are available and ready to assure continuous operations, and obtain or requisition any essential items needed.Make frequent checks of work to maintain quality and quantity standards, and take proper corrective action in cases of faulty work, excessive scrap, or production delay.Daily employee attendance register (roll call). Escalate issues/absence to Operations Manager and Human Resources for support.Update production boards with delivery targets. Ensure operators update hourly figures.Attend daily DGA / Production meetings and provide updates to all production employees.Liaise with opposing Shift Supervisor and ensure handover reports are generated and clearly communicated to peers (where applicable).Monitor production employees and team's production performance and quality performance. Identify and correct any non-conforming product for review with Engineering and Senior Leadership
