We're looking for a data and technology-oriented Software Engineer to help us accomplish our mission to improve and extend lives by learning from the experience of every person with cancer. What You'll Do
We believe that traditional clinical research paradigms are ill-equipped to address the volume and complexity of research questions that face drug developers, researchers, and regulators.
Our team has, and is building, technology-first products and operations to support new approaches to prospective evidence generation and clinical trial execution. In this role, you'll work with multidisciplinary stakeholders, including oncologists, data scientists and product experts to develop cutting edge tools that empower doctors to identify eligible patients for clinical trials, with a focus on increasing enrollment for diverse populations.
Specifically, you'll:
? Play a key role in the complete software development lifecycle, ensuring seamless integration from requirements gathering to deployment and ongoing maintenance.
? Build and maintain applications using React, Flask, Python and Postgres
? Apply best practices in coding, testing, and documentation to ensure the delivery of high-quality, user-friendly software
? Rapidly iterate on products while maintaining engineering practices that ensure quality and security
? Work with complex data pipelines using a variety of data processing tools
Must be able to work US East Coast working hours (Work day must include hours between 11AM-4PM EST)

? You're a software engineer with at least 5+ years of relevant professional experience
? You have experience working in React, Python and Postgres
? You are experienced with working in AWS and knowledgable about AWS services
? You are excited to work in a startup environment, think creatively and be scrappy to get the job done
? You are excited about working in a passionate, fast-paced, technology-driven culture
? You have a nose for value and empathy for your customers
? You have experience with agile development environments using object-oriented programming languages and relational databases, specifically Python, React and Postgres.
? You have some experience working with cloud platforms like AWS and data warehouse solutions like Snowflake
? You can collaborate and easily explain technical terms to a non-technical, highly sophisticated audience; you have superior communication skills
? You are comfortable with ambiguity and always willing to teach and learn
Extra Credit (Optional to add extra credit)
? You have experience working in healthcare
? You hold a bachelors, masters, and/or Ph.D. in computer science or a related field
? You are familiar with common data pipeline tools like pandas or R
? You are familiar with Jenkins, Airflow, and Terraform
