ALTEN Mexico is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Special Accountant Analyst ADV to join our team. As a Special Accountant Analyst ADV, you will play a critical role in the financial operations of our company. You will be responsible for analyzing financial data, ensuring compliance with accounting principles, and providing accurate and timely financial reports.
Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities (Capitalization & Amortization) Lead full analysis and accounting for Capitalization and Amortization by vehicle and segment. Ledger and Subledger tie offs for Stellantis Legal Entity requirements; and Purchase Price Accounting. Monthly alignment with Fixed Asset Accounting and R&D (dates to start - stop Capitalization and Amortization) Maintaining master database. Accounting Close – Ledger Reviews, Journal Vouchers preparation, FP&A Assessments, Period to Period Variance explanations, Trend Analysis, Blackline Reconciliations, Briefing Book support, SOX Controls, along with quarterly audits (internal and external) Impairment testing Forecast/Budget/MTP – Support by Program Capitalization/Amortization calendarization, Regional Amortization Allocation, Management reporting Requirements: Bachelor of Accounting, finance or similar 5 YOE Excellent communication skills; Ability to interact with/present to executive management and present a point-of-view with facts Strong attention to detail Ability to question items Investigate/analyze independently Propose solutions to management Manage multiple priorities/work-streams Basic Qualifications Minimum 5 years of core Finance or Accounting experience, with the Ability to forecast, and report actuals through the monthly close process. Superior navigation and comprehensive knowledge of PentaSAP Excellent knowledge or experience in HFM / Semplice (Sempcube) Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, Lookup, etc.) and PowerPoint Preferred Qualifications MBA or CPA or equivalent Prior analyst experience Experience in maintaining SOX compliance Experience in the Automotive Industry is a plus Advanced English Professional growth and development Above the law benefits Indeterminate contract Preferiable HYBRID (QRO 3D-ONSITE) or FULL REMOTE
