Through our extensive experience and technical knowledge, we provide support and development services throughout the entire product lifecycle.In this role as a Senior QA Tester (Automotive), you will:Design, plan, and execute functional and non-functional tests for automotive software applications.Perform root cause analysis for identified defects and provide clear and concise bug reports.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, project managers, and product owners to ensure high-quality software delivery.Participate in test strategy and test design discussions to improve product quality and testing efficiency.Develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for test processes and methodologies.Welcome to ALTEN Mexico, where your expertise in automotive QA testing will make a difference!To thrive in this role, you'll need:A minimum of 5 years of experience in software testing, specifically in the automotive domain.Strong knowledge of automotive system architecture and communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, Ethernet, etc.Proven experience in functional, integration, and regression testing of automotive software systems.Proficiency in using test management tools like JIRA, HP ALM, or Zephyr.Experience with test automation tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, or similar.Good understanding of Agile and Scrum development methodologies.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and troubleshoot software defects.Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Knowledge of ISO 26262 or other automotive functional safety standards is a plus.Fluent English language skills, both written and spoken.We offer:Base salaryMajor Medical Expense Insurance (includes dental and vision plan)15 days bonus25% vacation bonus12 days of vacation (From the first year)Social SecurityPTU/Profit SharingBiweekly food vouchersApply for this job#J-18808-Ljbffr
