5+ years of team management experience- 8+ years of account management, project or program management or buying experience- Experience with vendor negotiations, pricing and promotion or inventory management- Experience driving internal cross-team collaboration- Experience at a senior level in the fashion industry ideally in an e-commerce, retail, key account management or consulting role- Bachelor's Degree or certificate of completion of studies required and at least 10+ years of professional background- Fluent in English and SpanishThe Amazon Mexico team is looking for a talented, smart, and experienced Manager Vendor Manager to help us build an exceptional B2B store.Joining the Mexico Retail team means partnering with a dynamic and creative group who set a high bar for innovation and success in a fast-paced and changing environment. The MVM will be responsible for managing all categories for a new store (including reporting, driving unit, revenue and margin growth, and executing promotions). They will also partner with MVM/VMs from Retail or to negotiate direct relationships with key brands, driving incremental selection, and working with stakeholder teams to deliver a best-in-class customer experience.Key job responsibilities- Own the B2B MX P&L, hitting top and bottom line targets- Develop B2B strategy, including influencing Retail strategy and vendor relationships (new and existing) to ensure early insight into new trends and products; early and exclusive access to new items; merchandising and promotions and competitive costs.- Lead a cross-functional team, including Selection and Pricing, and influence non-direct reports such as Payments, In-Stock, and Amazon Advertising, to drive superior category & vendor results- Continuously audit to improve the customer experience and business performanceAbout the teamInclusive team cultureAt Amazon we embrace our differences and we are committed to furthering our culture of inclusion.
