Is also responsible for driving innovation across the GAV team and accountable for excellence in execution of access agreements with payers and other partners. Main Responsibilities Early Pipeline Access Strategy and Vision Screening and evaluation of Pfizer pipeline products: gathering information on clinical developments/economic burden of disease in the Pfizer pipeline, ongoing evaluation and prioritization of pipeline products Establishment and maintenance of a relevant network (national and international) with internal stakeholders and participation into Global initiatives to provide a Mexican public perspective. Be responsible for the development and implementation of the access/pharmaeconomic model strategy for all specialties of the pipeline to support the global and local organization in the structuring choices of clinical/economic burden of disease studies development and thus optimize future launches in terms of value and speed to market. Contribute to the achievement of Pfizer's strategic market access objectives for pipeline products, more specifically, the reduction of access times to the Mexican market and under the conditions of evaluation by the General Health Council. Develop and implement plans and budget requirements for projects that support selected pipeline products reimbursement strategy. Innovative Access Agreements Develop and implement project to elevate the internal and external capabilities in Innovative Agreements and Approach Building and scaling innovative access agreements across the whole Pfizer portfolio and translating successful pilots/experiments into new business models. Following up, rigorously tracking, and executing, evolving as needed, and where appropriate terminating, innovative agreement models, using the principles of disciplined experimentation. Advancing the local adoption of new platforms to support the scaling of innovative agreements, e. g. blockchain capability. Building expertise in critical innovative access skillsets including Negotiation Theory, Game Theory etc. and training and coaching other team members to apply these concepts to their work. Working directly with payers as needed to negotiate, design, and implement new business models/ways of working with Pfizer. Qualifications / Must Have Bachelor's Degree 10 years' experience in pharmaceutical industry with background in Marketing, Commercial and Access Roles Demonstrated project leadership, managing workstreams and small teams of cross-functional colleagues with varying backgrounds and skillsets Demonstrated ability to influence key internal and external stakeholders without direct authority Understanding of marketing and financial working methods and measures Demonstrated strong strategic thinking skills and ability to develop recommendations for decision-making or action Ability to partner and work as a team in a highly matrix environment English oral and writen skills Do & Don´ts In addition to the primary responsibilities listed above, the following are primary "Do's": Ensure that compliant processes are always followed including in engagements with payers and adhering rigorously to the appropriate SOPs for interactions and management of non-promotional materials (including all locally applicable legal and compliance requirements). Design and implement the overall strategy to achieve scale with innovative access agreements/new business models across the Pfizer portfolio, in partnership with the GAV Lead. Track all innovative access agreements/new business models across the portfolio, including patient numbers, financials etc., and constantly seeking ways to optimize, scale, adaptor, where necessary terminate, these agreements to achieve the optimal impact for patients, customers, and Pfizer. Maintain a high level of expertise in innovation theory and practice, including Objective and Key Results (OKRs) methods, negotiation theory, game theory etc., and coaching GAV colleagues to apply these concepts to their work. Develop the specialist access skillset of Health Access Specialists and coach them as needed. The following are primary "Don'ts" : This role is not demand-generating or Sales roles. As such, they cannot be incentivized, directly or indirectly by sales/revenue targets. The role should not focus simultaneously on both patient support programs with financial components AND contracts/pricing negotiations to avoid the risk of an actual or perceived link between Pfizer's broader offering and the purchase of products unless the program is directly and transparently linked to a commercial contract. Access & Innovation initiatives must neither raise anti-bribery/anti-corruption (ABAC) risk, nor be seen as interfering with payor or medical relationship or medical independence. Offerings or proposals must not cover activities that should routinely be managed by the HCO. Access & Innovation Manager and demand-generating colleagues should not execute on tactics/initiatives jointly as this could call into question the legitimate purpose of certain proactive engagements or transfers of value and be perceived as intended to drive sales.
