Context/Scope: Diageo Mexico has a clear vision of being recognized as one of the top 3 sales forces within the CPG companies and the number 1 in the On Trade Channel.Diageo has a solid position as market leader in the growing categories of Whisky & Tequila. We want to strengthen our position in both categories while expanding our relevance and continuing with our value creation strategy by entering other categories, such as rum & vodka.To properly face these challenges, we have to accelerate our commercial capabilities to exceed consumers' & customers' expectations and achieve our bold business goals, which include understanding and developing customers passionate about middle-class consumers, as well as crafting the accurate differentiation to strategic customers. Responsibilities Lead multi-functional teams (Sales, On Trade, CP&A WHS, CP&A Reserve, Commercial Finance, Sales Control, Credit & Collections) to develop, implement and measure all Joint Business Plans activities from a location outside Diageo's Central Office.Be in charge of 1 Commercial executive (Contractor). Develop Agenda, KPIs, Goals and go out with them every month.Align with all CARM processes.Be imaginative in finding solutions, generate ideas and move them to action.Build alignment, commit and outstanding teamwork.Demonstrate a strive to make a positive difference to business performance.Ability to independently handle Diageo's vision within a specific region using his line manager as support. Purpose of the Role Develop and/or reinforce current customer relationships with primary contacts (Owners, Commercial & Finance Directors, Operational Managers, and Buyers).Follow up on the differentiation and value proposition activities implementation with his/her contacts within Magadan and Valverde.Administrate Trade Investment Tool to enhance budget and implement it within Diageo's merchandising guidelines.Enable operational teams to achieve excellence in execution at POS through outstanding negotiation.Able to analyze information (sales, margins, inventories, pricing, competition, trends, etc.) to generate deep insights and propose solutions in the short term.Be a key contributor of Search and Spin within WHS Channel and the rest of the Sales organization. Top Accountabilities: Responsible for the follow-up: Gross Sales, Volume, Profit, Cash Recovery, and Market Share.Generate relevant contributions NSV, Profit, Average Working Capital & Price Mix. Qualifications and Experience Required: Capabilities required Fully knowledgeable of Licence to Sell, Experienced Negotiation and Financial Basics.Experience working with key accounts (Wholesale customers preferably) in CPG companies.High capacity to influence people not in their direct structure.Solid experience managing, training, and developing people.Confirmed analytical, planning, and negotiation skills, as well as critical thinking.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Demonstrate proactivity, initiative, and determination (always work with a sense of urgency).Understanding of multifunctional interdependencies within Diageo.Balance priorities properly.Strong Financial understanding.University or college graduate.Proficient in English/Spanish.Advanced Excel Skills.Resilience.
