**Position**:Account ManagerConverge, an Arrow company, is an industry-leading electronic components independent distributor.
As a full-service global supply chain partner, Converge leverages the open market to provide proactive, data-driven solutions for components, obsolescence and computing - meeting even the most demanding of supply chain requirements.
**What You'll Be Doing**- Typically supports a client base of approximately 100 mid-size accounts.- Meets assigned sales targets.- Sells all solutions, building relationships with internal partners/mapping strategies.- Cold calling, prospecting, developing, and servicing a customer base within new and existing customers.- Pricing and managing business quotes.- Creates selling opportunities within assigned critical, large, multi-location, complex, and high visibility Arrow customers through a very strategic sales plan and process.- Grows profit and maximizes margins by selling value-added, long-term solutions.- Consults with and provides quotes to customers, and ensures orders are properly processed.
**What We Are Looking For**- Highly motivated professionals with a passion for sales and 4-5 years previous experience in direct sales, consultative sales, or account management in a fast-paced environment.- Bachelor's degree preferred.- Excellent verbal and written communications skills; must be fluent in English.- Experience with an industrial independent or franchised distributor is a plus.- Experience selling technology products and/or services is strongly preferred.- The ability to negotiate sales and drive revenue.- The ability to develop business relationships and penetrate and grow business from new and existing accounts.- Quick-thinking, problem-solving, and issue management skills.- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
