.We are hiring a**New Business Account Manager **who will be responsible to bring and win new sales volume and projects primary on accounts that haven't been penetrated by Steelcase in Tijuana, Baja California.**What You Will Be Doing**:- Act as a playmaker for accounts that require a high-quality service and seamless execution over the sales process.- The scope of work may include specific market segments development (industrial segment, manufacturing plants/maquila, etc)- Build and leverage relationship with Maquila Industry, Chamber of Commerce, A&Ds and grow the flow of incoming projects and leverage those relationships during and/or before bidding process and to contribute on growing the business.- Leverage and participate in both local and industrial associations (INDEX Consejo Nacional de la Industria Maquiladora y Manufacturera de Exportación, AMPI Asociación Mexicana de Profesionales Inmobiliarios)- Understand and create pricing POVs and strategies, validate with the manager competitive pricing strategies.- Follow up business with global accounts.- Develop deep level of relationship and communication channel with stakeholders in designated accounts acting like a business partner.- Resolve customer´s issues and problems, managing and maintaining their trust.- Some highly competitive projects and accounts to win are also part of the scope of this position, the Account Manager must ensure proper account penetration and stabilization before transitioning them to Strategic Sales.- Responsible of developing & implementing commercial strategies by previously discussing and validating them with the Sales Manager.- Find new business opportunities/projects in the maquila/industrial ecosystem and responding to RFPs, RFQs and RFI.- Be accountable of the entire sales process when the designated account relays on his/her responsibility; and it must show, timing, management and reporting skills with the tools given by Steelcase.- Manage different strategies for multiple clients and implement added value techniques.**Who You Are**:**Required Skills and Competencies**- Bachelor´s degree in Business or related field.- Advanced English- At least 2 years of experience in a similar sales role.**Preferred Skills and Competencies**- Excellent Understanding and knowledgeable of different product (Global portfolios), services, specifications, etc.- Punctuality- Ability to work on multiple projects at a time.- Possess an appropriate sense of urgency, anticipate consequences, and evaluate alternatives before acting, tend to not have excuses for specific situations, it is expected to act when situations require so.- Manage of time in the selling process including all the staff areas- Understand and manage its own internal and external agenda.- Exceptional organization and self-management skills reflected in an outstanding client service, a punctual and detailed delivery of reports and follow-up with internal clients and/or suppliers
