. The Account Manager, Mexico for the Coatings & Adhesives (C&A) segment is responsible for managing a territory of existing large and complex accounts across the full portfolio of additives which includes waxes, light stabilizers and flame retardants with focus on coatings, inks, adhesives and special application markets. He/she will the responsible for growing and increasing market share in Mexico to reach annual sales targets, understanding customer needs and ensuring a smooth sales process. The role will also identify and manage new business opportunities with existing and/or new prospects to build a strong opportunity pipeline. Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, addressing inquiries, providing product recommendations, and offering exceptional customer service. Lead price negotiations with customers and manage profitability to achieve financial targets. Maintain and develop customer relationships, deep and wide, with new and existing customers. Drive growth through identification of new opportunities and management of CRM pipeline Collaborate with technical business development managers based in Europe and USA to support pipeline development. Provide a consultative selling approach to customers helping them make informed decisions about products and services. Manage and communicate sales forecasts, account plans and budgets, and sales pipeline. Identify growth opportunities and develop strategies to maximize revenue at assigned accounts. Collaborate with internal teams on product development, pricing strategies, marketing campaigns and market insights, supply chain and customer service. Manage price quotes, RFP's and contracts while also supporting accounts receivables and inventory targets. Stay up to date on industry trends, competitor's activities, and market developments to identify potential new customers and market opportunities. Proactively address and mitigate churn risks. Requirements Bachelor's in: Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or Science related field . Experience around 5-8 years in chemical sales, business development, technical marketing within the CASE or specialty chemicals industry. Experience in technical roles would be a plus. Experience and knowledge in coatings & adhesives market. Consultative selling experience with ability to build rapport and relationships. Sales driven mindset with passion for achieving and exceeding targets. Proficient spoken and written English. Proficient in Microsoft office: word, excel, power point and active use of CRM software. Ability to react and adapt in a dynamic organization, and to operate in a complex and ambiguous environment. Disciplined execution and organization, a bility to work independently and make decisions.
