Account Receivable Representative

OverviewRain Bird has a need for a skilled, knowledgeable and energetic professional to assist in its accounts receivable department This high-energy, high-volume department works with other functions across the company to safeguard assets, assure the timely collection of customer receivables and improve the efficiency of company billing practices.ResponsibilitiesThe Accounts Receivable Representative is responsible for collection and deduction management.
Assists in the reconciliation of payment discrepancies and disputes and recommends solution and resolution alternatives.Perform key Accounts Receivable requirements including, but not limited toCollections and cash applicationOrder management, billing corrections, invoices for customer advance paymentsAccount and Bank ReconciliationsDeduction ManagementBalance A/R logsMaintain accounts receivable filesObtain proof of delivery documentationMexico specific A/R requirements (i.E.
UUID, e-invoicing and digital reporting, etc.
)Prepare monthly and Ad hoc statements to customersPerform Month End Close processesOther Ad hoc duties as requestedQualificationsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Three (3) or more years of experience in billing and collectionsExperience with Mexico specific A/R requirements (i.E.
UUID, e-invoicing and digital reporting, etc.
)Strong analytical skills and communication skills, with a high level of accuracy in all tasks.PC literate in a Windows environment and with Microsoft Excel and WordMust be dependable, Self-Motivated and a Team PlayerGood customer service and interpersonal skillsExcellent time management, organization, and negotiation skillsDESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree in business, Finance or related fields preferred#J-18808-Ljbffr
