**ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

The Accountant manages the daily accounting activities to quickly and accurately record the revenues, expenditures, assets, and liabilities of the companies.
The incumbent should be a highly motivated selfstarter with supervisory, review, and proofing experience.
The incumbent is also responsible for preparing annual financial statements and coordinating the company's annual audit.
- Oversee the daily accounting activities to maintain the company's ledger.
- Quickly and accurately record the revenues, expenditures, assets and liabilities.
- Prepares & follows end of month closing checklist
- Prepare monthly account reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly and annual financial statements and ad hoc financial reports.
- Processes AP accurately and on a timely manner (checks, wires, ACHs)
- Prepares employee payroll
- Prepares 1099 for year end
- Maintains organized set of detailed records and files to document financial transactions.
- Makes and implements recommendations to improve accounting processes and procedures.
**QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS**

Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance or equivalent experience

2-5 Years of related accounting experience

Advance Microsoft Excel skills

Strong attention to detail

Good analytical skills

Excellent organizational skills

**PREFERRED SKILLS**

Quickbooks Online experience preferred
