Westfall Manufacturing is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team in our Tijuana facility. This position will focus on Accounts Payable and Treasury activities, providing an excellent opportunity for professional growth and development within the company. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting foundation, an eagerness to learn, and the potential for advancement.
Key Responsibilities:Accounts Payable:Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments.Verify and reconcile invoice discrepancies.Maintain and update vendor files and records.Assist in month-end closing activities related to Accounts Payable.Handle vendor inquiries and resolve payment issues.Treasury:Assist with cash management activities, including monitoring cash flow and forecasting.Process bank transactions and prepare bank reconciliations.Support the preparation of treasury reports and analysis.Coordinate with banks for various treasury operations.General Accounting Support:Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting documentation.Participate in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.Support internal and external audit processes.Contribute to the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Strong foundational knowledge of accounting principles and practices.At least 2 years of experience in similar roles in manufacturing companies.Fluent in written and spoken English is a must.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, especially Excel) and e-mail skills are required.Familiarity with accounting software and ERP systems; experience with IQMS is a plus.High attention to detail and accuracy.Strong organizational and time-management skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
