RESPONSIBILITIES
- Inspecting the correctness of accounting attributes for expense-supporting documents
- Executing bank payments to EPAM counterparties (domestic and foreign wire payments; batch and individual transfers)
- Maintaining US GAAP bookkeeping of company expenditures by types and corresponding AP and bank payments
- Conducting monthly accounting closings of mentioned accounts in SAP as per established procedure
- Communicating with local accountants on bookkeeping issues if required
- Providing explanations/supporting documentation to Senior/Lead Accountant on all in-scope companies if required
- Handling audit requests, participating in meetings with external and internal auditors
- Participating in regular improvement process activities with the IT development team and analysing areas for improvement
**REQUIREMENTS**:
- Finance/Accounting background
- Minimum 1 year of accounting work experience
- Good command of the English language (At least B2 level)
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
- Meticulous attention to detail
- High personal responsibility
- Ability to work within agreed rules and procedures
- Openness to constant self-development
- A strong team player
