Our Mexico office is located in the Polanco area of Mexico City and our expanding team is a key contributor in helping us deliver growth throughout the market.**About the Role**:This is an opportunity for an experienced Accountant to join a rapidly developing and constantly growing cutting-edge technology based business. Dyson is expanding and is looking for experienced staff to take Dyson through its next stage of growth.Accountabilities:- You will report to a Lead Accountant.- Support the Lead Accountant on the following core areas: Monthly month end close process; Statutory filing requirements including but not limited to reviewing the local trial balance prepared by the outsourced accounting firm, responding to tax agent's queries and Group finance team; Preparation and submission of regulatory bodies reports when necessary; Financial control and governance including legal and secretarial compliance- Presenting and reviewing monthly financial statements and performance with the Controller- Lead/support on specific tasks and projects. You will also work with the other operations finance teams across different Dyson sites.- You will proactively and continuously challenge and improve everything you encounter.- Ad hoc analysis of business as required**About You**:Skills / Experience required:- Minimum 3 years of external auditing experience and possess strong accounting technical knowledge (Mexican GAAP and IFRS)- Experience in shared services set up especially at General Ledger area and project management skill will be added advantage- Experience working with SAP S4 Hana and OneStream preferable- Analytical and problem-solving mindset to tackle daily operations issues from multiple angles- Proven track record of delivering to objectives in a fast-paced environment under strict deadlines and with consistent high standard.- Inherent ability to plan and deliver systematic improvements to financial and business processes.- Strong team player and naturally collaborative in approach to develop strong, mutually beneficial relationships- At ease with ambiguity with the ability to quickly analyse and simplify complex issues and seek out simple but effective ways of getting things done- A change agent, with a sense of urgency, who will challenge the status quo and avoid bureaucracy.
