As an Accountant, prepare financial documents and ensure accurate reporting to support our continued growth as North America's top distributor of shipping, industrial and packaging materials!
**Position Responsibilities**
- Help prepare financial statements as well as gather and analyze information needed to prepare journal entries.
- Review, investigate and correct errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents and reports, making corrections as needed.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts.
- Assist in the year-end financial audit, preparing schedules and addressing auditor requests.
- Pursue efficiencies and process improvement opportunities.
- Monitor compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and company procedures.
**Minimum Requirements**
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
CPA** preferred.
**
- **Bilingual (English / Spanish) - fluent in both verbal and written forms.
**
- 2+ years prior Accounting experience.
- Proficiency in Excel, Access or SQL is **preferred.
