**PRIMARY FUNCTION**:
Responsible for inventory accounting controls and procedures across the Juarez manufacturing network.
**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Work cross functionally with the inventory, procurement, and warehouse teams to ensure all inventory transactions are recorded accurately and timely to both the perpetual system and general ledger
- Review and approve inventory invoices to ensure accurate coding and compliance with 3-way match
- Prepare and record all inventory related journal entries as part of the month end close process
- Work with local teams to implement processes to measure inventory yield and scrap performance on key inventory categories such as fabric, leather, raw steel, and plywood.
- Monitor and investigate material price and quantity variances and provide leadership with recommendations to minimize variances.
- Prepare and report on Key Performance Indicators to optimal balance of inventory turns and service levels.
- Prepare monthly book to perpetual inventory reconciliations and assist in the execution of physical inventory counts across the Juarez manufacturing network.
- Identify opportunities and implement solutions to improve inventory accuracy and financial controls
- Collaborates with peers to complete special projects while effectively managing multiple priorities.
- Other duties as assigned.
**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 2-3 years' professional experience in Accounting and/or Finance
- Experience in manufacturing
