Accountant

As  Accountant  working within  Managed Services (one of our entities),   you will be responsible for providing senior leadership with accurate financial information by preparing, researching, and analyzing accounts.
How You Make a Difference Everyday: Prepare journal entries Reconcile balance sheet accounts Record transactions in the general ledger Assist in the timely preparation of the monthly financial package Assist external auditors for the completion of the annual audit by gathering documents, validating account balances and explaining account activity Provide answers to accounting and financial questions through investigative and analytical methods Recommend changes to current accounting procedures for increased accuracy and efficiency, when appropriate Support the Accounting team with other related duties, as assigned Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting strongly preferred Minimum 2 years of experience with account reconciliation and journal entries Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Demonstrated financial analytical ability Bi-lingual in English/Spanish; proficient level for verbal and written communication Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills Ability to maintain a high degree of discretion when dealing with confidential, proprietary and/or sensitive information and data This position is full-time and hybrid Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with an hour break, but flexibility is available based on coverage.
