Company Description**_ Avery Dennison is an equal opportunity employer._**Job Description- Analyze and verify internal consistency, completeness and mathematical accuracy of accounting documents; make adjustments, as necessary.- Assign prescribed accounting distribution codes.- Perform account reconciliation; troubleshoot and analyze discrepancies.- Responsible in preparing, adjusting and closing journal entries.- Audit, review and verify accuracy of journal entries and accounting classifications assigned to various records.- Coordinate accounting matters with other departments, locations and divisions. (ie Customer Service, Procurement, Warehouse, etc)- Assist with the preparation of year-end closings. Assist in the preparation of working papers for audits (SOX)- May assist in preparing monthly and annual consolidated statements.- Ensuring compliance with all accounting standards and fiscal legislationQualifications- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field.- 2-4 years accounting- Understands the fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of accounting and general ledger.- Very good analytical skills and knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles are essential.- Fluency in English- Very good IT knowledge, in particular Excel- Nice to have - Oracle knowledgeAdditional Information**Who we are! - Our Story**:**Each of us, Every day!** Eight Values**.
