We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, bookkeeping, and reporting, with the ability to provide valuable insights to support business decisions.
Responsibilities: Manage Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Payroll Oversee bookkeeping and financial reporting processes Develop a deep understanding of the business and its connection to the general ledger (GL) Produce ad hoc management accounting reports and pro forma Profit and Loss statements (PnLs) for potential products Ensure effective integration of inventory, e-commerce, and payment systems with the GL Perform monthly book closings and provide ongoing insights into company PnL Manage the company's relationship with external tax partners Lead process improvement projects to increase efficiency Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred Deep expertise with Excel or Google Sheets, particularly in data reconciliation Familiarity with the US tax system and reporting deadlines Exceptional attention to detail and strong grasp of US GAAP or IFRS accounting practices Proven ability to close books monthly and provide financial insights Experience in process improvement and implementing efficiency measures Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets Needs to align with Central Time hours Benefits: Competitive salary Opportunities for career growth and advancement within a rapidly expanding company.
