.In Omron Mexico we are looking for our next Accountant.Our Accountant will be responsible for accurate, timely, and relevant recording, reporting, and analysis of financial information in a shared services environment.RESPONSIBILITIES:Assist in month end close and reporting process.Review ledger accounts, recommend and prepare adjusting journal entries.Perform account analysis and reconciliation.Prepare, record and analyze accounting transactions.Ensure the completeness and accuracy of accounting records.Identify opportunities to streamline business processes and procedures to improve efficiency of the month/quarter close process.Assist with internal control evaluations.Participate in the documentation and execution of accounting projects.Support various operational activities, audit deliverables, ad hoc projects or analyses as requested.Interact daily with accounting team and internal customers.Provide mentorship to team members.EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND CERTIFICATIONS:Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or equivalent education.Experience: Typically, 2-5 years of accounting experience.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: The responsibilities listed below are representative, but not all inclusive of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability necessary to satisfactorily and successfully perform the essential duties of this position.Technical Abilities: Technologically savvy with proficiency in MS Office Suite and working with ERP, Accounting and Reporting software; experience with Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Accounting Software and Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) a plus.Behavioral Profile: Analytical Thinking, Adaptability, Learning Agility, Innovation, Building Talent, Executional Excellence, Earning Trust, Effective Communication, Facilitating Change, Customer Orientation, Decision Making, Influencing, Optimizing Work Processes, Business Acumen, Resilience and Continuous Learning.QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: The requirements listed below are representative of the physical and environmental factors the job holder will encounter.Physical Requirements: While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is often required to talk, hear at normal speaking levels, sit and use their hands and fingers to type, handle or feel, including repetitive motions with the wrists, hands and fingers.
