**Job Description: Accountant****Role summary**:The Accountant is responsible for preparing journal entries in SAP, bank reconciliation, balance sheet accounts review, etc. Supports the Accounting Manager in providing accounting information and reporting. The Accountant works with Operations, FP&A and Cap Gemini as needed to discuss variances.**Core Responsibilities**:- 30% Month-end close: Prepare accruals, reclasses and other entries in SAP including Intercompany charges, Tax Depreciation and manual invoices. Provide preliminary Trial Balance review. Review P&L and Balance Sheet accounts during close. Provides accounting information to the Accounting Manager. Runs reports to support the close process. Reconcile Sub-ledgers to General Ledger.- 20% Account reconciliation/Reporting: Prepare bank reconciliations and T&E reports. Prepare balance sheet reconciliations. Maintain control over balance sheet activity. Support tax preparation. Create INEGI reports.- 20% Accounts Payable: Prepare vendor requests and Purchase Orders. Prepare monthly Amex reports. Maintain work papers for employee expenses and petty cash. Prepare invoices related to electric power, payroll tax, Social Security, INFONAVIT and others as needed.- 30 % Stat & Tax/Other: Assist with preparation of various reporting requirements including Withholding Tax, Statutory reporting, Corporate Income Tax return, Indirect Tax Obligations and Audit queries. Confer with FP&A, Operations and Cap Gemini to discuss financial result variances. Ad hoc projects as requested by management.**Preferred Education**:- BA or BS degree in Accounting or related area; **Knowledge**:- Knowledge of ARIBA and SAP. Knowledgeable in SAP/BW accounting system, ARIBA- Knowledge of Windows, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint- Languages: Fluent in Spanish and Semi fluent in English; **Requirements**:- At least 5 years of accounting experience**Skills**:- Time management, as necessary for assigned tasks.
