**Accounting: Bookkeepers/Clerks**
Bookkeepers/ Clerks oversee a company's financial data and compliance by maintaining accurate books on accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and daily financial entries and reconciliations. The position creates financial transactions and generates reports from that information. The creation of financial transactions includes posting information to accounting journals or accounting software from such source documents as invoices to customers, cash receipts, and supplier invoices. The bookkeeper also reconciles accounts to ensure their accuracy.
**Requirements**:
- At minimum, an associate degree in Accounting, Bookkeeping, Finance, or similar field. Bachelor's degree preferred. An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience can be substituted.
- Accurate keyboard skills and experience with various office equipment
- Proficient in English (oral and written)
- Minimum 2 years' experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task
**Bookkeeper** **Responsibilities** **include but are not limited to the following**:
- Data entry
- Utilizes accounting systems to collect and verify financial data.
- Completes credit card and vendor expense account reconciliation report
- Maintains copies of all vendor contracts
- Acts as back up for payroll and grants accounting
- Analyze financial information in order to identify discrepancies
- Research and resolve discrepancies in a timely fashion
- Maintain confidentiality of all financial data
- Compile and prepare routine reports and summaries
Pay: From $15,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Cuauhtémoc, Méx.: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
