Recontour is strategically focused on small (And this is where you come in: As our Accountant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the financial health and accuracy of Recontour's financial statements. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of our accounting system, from reconciling daily transactions to creating monthly reports and tax filings. This is a hands-on opportunity to work with a dynamic and growing company, where your contributions will directly impact our success.
The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and possess experience reconciling transactions, creating financial statements, and handling taxes. Apart from these, the candidate should have analytical abilities, exceptional communication skills, and be comfortable in a fast-paced environment capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously, with conflicting priorities. We are a fast-growing although still small team, so we all get our hands dirty every day, regardless of seniority or position.
This is a 100% remote position.
Responsibilities Reconcile transactions using XeroMaintain accurate and up-to-date accounting entriesManage all accounts payable and receivable processes, including processing invoices, payments, and reconciliations.Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.Assist with budgeting and forecasting.Stay compliant with all relevant tax regulations and filing deadlines: Sales tax, income tax, 1099s.Work closely with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
