Scope of leadership role
Position Summary: Conduct and document basic accounting transactions. Provides accounting records and reports on a regular basis. Contributes and ensure financial information reliability and comply with GAAPs and SOX requirements for the treatment of financial information that supports decision-making. Knowledge in Mexico fixed assets, construction in progress analysis and reporting, Analyzes financial and accounting information. May participate in due diligence research during acquisitions. Oracle background.
- Key Responsibilities
- Maintains, reviews and verifies the accuracy of journal entries and accounting classifications assigned to various records to support close process
- Active participation in internal and external audits.
- Electronic accounting compliance with SAT authorities
- Blackline balance sheet accounts reconciliations
- Determination of maquila income, journal entry preparation and monthly billing
- Travel expense report review and follow up with end users (concur)
- Expense account analysis
- Fixed assets knowledge (retirements, additions, financial and tax depreciation)
- Construction in progress review and analysis
- Perform a Final Trial Balance to consolidate in Hyperion
- Generate recurring Journal entries
- PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to do tactical reporting, data mining, and critical analysis.
- MS Office suite Power User (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams)
- Oracle Knowledge
- Multi-tasking
- Good verbal and written communication skills.

Required Education / Experience / Skills:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience. 3+ years. Green Belt in Lean Six Sigma within 3 years; Accounting relevant knowledge & expertise,

- Language: Basic Bilingual English and Spanish is required.
