As one of our five cornerstones, this means that we go all-out to create an environment that shows we are committed to investing in employee growth and creating a culture of belonging where employees want to build a lasting career.Principle Duties and ResponsibilitiesUpdates financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed.Contributes to the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting and assists with complex accounting tasks.Assists in monthend/yearend closings and department projects.Reviews and reconciles inventory, payable, billing, and cash sub-system transactions to ensure accuracy.Prepares journal entries to record corrections and accounting adjustments.Manages and calculates accruals.Prepares and analyzes financial statements and managerial reports.Conducts financial analysis to identify trends and variances.Maintains financial records for subsidiary companies by analyzing balance sheet general ledger accounts.Reconciles general ledger and subsidiary bank accounts by gathering and balancing information.Ensures compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.Prepares and files tax returns, including identifying tax deductions and credits.Assists with internal and external audits, including evaluating internal controls and recommending improvements.Supports cross-functional teams to research financial questions and provide insights.Performs fixed asset accounting.Stays informed about changes in accounting regulations and industry best practices.Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading professional publications.Utilizes accounting software and tools effectively to streamline financial processes.Job SpecificationsCollege degree is required.2+ years' experience in accounting.Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax laws.Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.Strong communication and interpersonal skills
