Meztal is hiring a Payroll Specialist to manage bi-weekly and monthly payroll processes, ensuring compliance with local tax laws and labor regulations. The ideal candidate is experienced in payroll processing, tax filings, and coordinating employee benefits.Responsibilities: Process payroll accurately on a bi-weekly or monthly basis, ensuring compliance with tax laws and deductions. Enter and validate payroll data in the payroll system to ensure timely submissions. Address employee payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies promptly. Maintain payroll records in compliance with labor laws and internal policies. Coordinate with HR to track employee benefits, bonuses, overtime, and time-off balances. Prepare and file payroll tax returns, including quarterly and annual reports. Assist with year-end payroll reconciliation and reporting. Monitor and improve internal controls related to payroll processes. Stay updated on labor regulations, payroll taxes, and reporting requirements. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in payroll processing. Knowledge of local tax regulations and labor laws. Proficiency in payroll software and tools (e.G., ADP, SAP, Oracle). Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
