Primary Responsibilities:

Functional Responsibilities
Ensure business transactions are reported in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles of all reinsurance related operations.

Accountabilities:
- Manage & collaboration the booking into the accounting operations of all reinsurance related operations.
- Reconciliations of reinsurance balance intercompany and non intercompany.
- Work closely with team members to assist with the Local Statutory and USGAAP month-end close.
- Analyze assigned account reconciliations, improves accounting processes and procedures.
- Assist with the annual audit process including the draft of the financial statements and related notes
- Develops and maintains records of all general ledger reinsurance related accounts and all monthly and quarterly journal entries necessary for monthly close; enter journal entries, prepare accounts reconciliations, investigates reconciling items and propose solutions of cleaning the items under investigation.
- Maintains compliance with accounting standards and regulations (e.g., U.S. GAAP, SOX, and local regulations)
- Analyze accounting transactions, prepare journal entries, and records entries in the accounting system.

- Learning disposition
- Bachelor´s degree in Accounting or equivalent
- Experience: 5+ years of professional accounting experience & experience in insurance and reinsurance industry.
