We are looking for an **Accountant **to support the following activities:
- Maintain general ledger and journals to include monitoring accounts for discrepancies
- Prepare necessary journal entries
- Reconcile all bank accounts as part of the month-end closing process
- Reconcile and balance accounts payable and accounts receivable monthly
- Generate and review monthly financial statements to ensure accuracy of information
- Assist with the audit process, budget preparation, and provide input regarding improvements to the accounting system
- Demonstrate an understanding of how to prepare, read, and interpret financial statements
- Actively participate in the budgeting process and possess a clear understanding of how reserve funding works
**Work Schedule**:
Monday through Friday 10:00 to 19:00 CST MX
Daylight saving in the USA: 09:00 to 18:00 CST MX

**Requirements**:
- **MUST: Advanced English (Strong communication skills: writing and speaking)**:
- Bachelor in Accounting
- Around 2 years of experience as a General Accountant, Staff Accountant, General Ledger Accountant.
- Strong Accounting terminology in English.
- Understanding of accrual accounting and US GAAP
- Strong typing skills.
- Advanced Excel.
