Perform weekly and monthly statutory reconciliations and help to manage the differences and lead the corrections across the different teams.
Coordinate and support to deliver workpapers on external and internal audits.
Improve the reconciliation processes and implement new reports/processes to help to review the local statutory regulations.
Forge strong relationship with Operations, Accounting, Treasury, Tax and Statutory to ensure relevant compliance.
Follow up any special project in a monthly basis as well as participate in any special task team to achieve results. Drives a continues improving process across Mexico Supply Organization.
Helps to build a high-performance team leading with example.
Perform and coordinate physical inventories.
Support Fixed Asset Verification control.
Experience required/Skills/Capabilities/Languages:
A Corporate accounting analyst should:
- Have at least 3 years of experience in accounting and/or internal audit teams- Develop and manage Ad hoc finance analysis and reconciliations- Have strong accounting and tax knowledge and have experience with MEX GAAP and IFRS- Be hands-on and a professional with the attitude to build and improve processes- Have SAP knowledge- Expert in excel- Shape the future: Developing ambitious plans and bringing clarity to others, analysing data to arrive at core messages, trying new ways and challenges complacency and complexity.- Win through execution: Setting the bar high for themselves, stepping up and taking accountability, being tenacious and working effectively at speed.- Inspire through purpose: looking for opportunities for themselves and others to learn and amplifying Diageo´s purpose through their own actions. Collaborate with other departments, teams and shared services.- Invest in talent: being resilient in the face of adversity and playing their part in driving diversity at Diageo.- Bilingual: English and Spanish- Knowledge of import accounting process- Reconciliation data stage with GL accounts
