About the Role:
Perform weekly and monthly statutory reconciliations and help to manage the differences and lead the corrections across the different teams. Coordinate and support to deliver workpapers on external and internal audits. Improve the reconciliation processes and implement new reports/processes to help to review the local statutory regulations. Forge positive relationship with Operations, Accounting, Treasury, Tax and Statutory to ensure relevant compliance. Follow up any special project in a monthly basis as well as participate in any special task team to achieve results. Drives a continues improving process across Mexico Supply Organization. Helps to build a high-performance team leading with example. Perform and coordinate physical inventories. Support Fixed Asset Verification control. Fill and submit RNIE information on a timely basis. Update actual figures from SAP of our 3 year forecast of P&L and BS (statutory basis) Knowledge of import accounting process Reconciliation data stage with GL accounts
Experience required/Skills/Capabilities/Languages:
A Corporate Finance analyst should:
- Have at least 3 years of experience in accounting and/or internal audit teams
- Develop and manage Ad hoc finance analysis and reconciliations
- Have strong accounting and tax knowledge and have experience with MEX GAAP and IFRS
- Be hands-on and a professional with the attitude to build and improve processes
- Have SAP knowledge
- Expert in excel
