Accounting Analyst

Alboalbo is a leading fintech company offering financial products to individuals and SMB's with the mission to bring financial freedom to everyone everywhere.Job descriptionAs a member of our Accounting team, you will participate in a wide range of accounting activities, including month-end journal entries, bank reconciliations, detailed reconciliations of balance sheet accounts, as well as assisting in the preparation and execution of month-end schedules and financial reports.What you'll be doing at albo:- Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.- Update accounts receivable.- Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations.- Assist with review of expenses, payroll records, etc., as assigned.- Prepare and submit weekly and monthly reports.- Assist senior accountants in preparing monthly/annual closings.- Assist with other accounting tasks.- Prepare and review bank reconciliations for multiple entities.- Maintain an audit trail of analysis, calculations and approvals and in local work papers.- Perform variance analysis and prepare detailed analytics for SG&A expenses on a monthly basis.- Provide assistance to internal and external auditors, including explanations of journal entries/support and work papers upon request.- Perform revenue reconciliations- Support billing activitiesAbout you and what type of skills you'll need:- +1 year of experience on accounting tasks- Hands on: You are energized by rolling up your sleeves and making things happen.- Done is better than perfect: As things change and move quickly, you are excited by the fast pace, and opportunity to constantly learn.
