We are driven by our vision of a world in which electricity is no longer a luxury good, and we are looking for talented, driven individuals to help us light the world with cleaner, more affordable energy solutions.The roleNFE Mexico is looking for an Accounting Analyst for our Mexico business that will lead the following areas for the Mexican business and provide direct support to the Mexico Assistant Controller and to: Finance Controller Director, Global NFE Controller, General Ledger, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, Fixed Assets, Transactional Taxes, Travel and Expenses, Payroll and Treasury/Cash management.The Accounting Analyst will ensure accurate and timely accounting, reporting and analysis of financial data in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (U.S. GAAP) to support group reporting and will oversee accurate and timely accounting & reporting of all local requirements in accordance with Mexican GAAP (NIIFs) and local compliance/regulations. The individual will support in the review/supervision and completion of monthly, quarterly and annual close processes, and all that is encompassed within those processes (i.E. reconciliations, reporting, etc.)ResponsibilitiesWhat you will do:Assist in completing the month end close activities, including generation, posting and review of journal entries, reconciling general ledger accounts and generating monthly financial statements (both GAAP and non-GAAP for internal reporting)
