**Job Description**:
This is a 6th level position in GBS Finance. This role will work closely with both IT functional groups, development teams and business process owners to sustain 6 existing SAP systems for Project Systems (Capital/Engineering), Fixed Assets, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. This position encompasses a high level of personal initiative, proactive follow-through, independent judgment, decision-making and thoroughness.
- Perform General Ledger Functions; assure accuracy, timeliness, and conformity with professional accounting standards and best practices in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
- Identify, interpret, and analyze potential accounting risks and issues.
- Research and analyze accounting transactions and contracts.
- Identify and execute internal controls, SOX compliance and financial procedures.
- Partner with Finance to determine accounting implications of transactions and perform analytical analyses to utilize when making all material business decisions.
- Assist with internal and external financial reporting - including analyzing consolidated results, ensuring quality, and administering strict timeline.
- Evaluate current accounting practices and policies and drive continuous improvement.
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00 am - 5:00 pm (Hybrid)

**Required Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's Degree: accounting, administration (recent bachelor's degree graduate may apply)
- Required experience in similar position: from 1 to 3 years.
- English Level: Advanced.
- Key Skills: SAP knowledge, problem solving, communication, sense of urgency.
