Job Description: As a member of México Finance Team will prepare bank reconciliations for our clients in Flight Centre Travel Group México; duties include reconciling checks, deposits (direct and 3 rd party) and internal transfers, researching and noting discrepancies, identifying possible fraud items, acting as an intermediate between our clients and Flight Centre Travel Group México.
Responsibilities: Perform a high volume of numerical detail work with speed and accuracy.Advise operations team members and commercial finance team members of discrepancies identified to ensure quick resolution with the client.Learn new internal accounting systems, processes, and procedures.Perform bank reconciliations, Vendor and Debtor reconciliations and settlements, merchant reconciliations and receipt allocations.Ensure compliance with company policies, relevant accounting standards and FCTG minimum standards for financial systems and processes.Take on other duties as assigned. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent, including courses in accounting (post-secondary education is desirable).Minimum 2+ years of experience in bookkeeping, accounts payable, or other applicable finance related work.Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O (required) and Microsoft Outlook.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Critical thought.Possess strong initiative to resolve issues and pursue opportunities as they are identified.High degree of flexibility and ability to deal with change and a pressured work environment.Proven time management and organizational skills.High attention to detail.Exceptional interpersonal & communication skills with ability to develop relationships at all levels.Must be fluent in English.Work Perks! - What's in it for you: FCTG is renowned internationally for having amazing perks and an even better culture.
