This manager will be supervising a team of 2 employees and be responsible for supervising and performing accounting and month-end tasks for the Canadian, US and Mexican entities of the Averna Group, for supervising the Mexican tax processes and for coordinating the Mexican payroll activities.**Responsibilities**:Accounting tasks for the North American entities:- Maintain accounting records and month-end reporting, for the Canadian, US and Mexican entities in both local accounting policies for statutory purposes and Canadian accounting policies for consolidation purposes.- Ensure all balance sheet accounts are reconciled and analyzed in a timely manner- Actively participate in intercompany transactional reconciliations- Actively participate in the preparation of documents for year-end audit- Support special project requestsOther tasks for the Mexican entity:- Coordinate payroll, and manage related taxes and benefits- Supervise Mexican IVA claims and/or payments- Actively participate in the preparation of the Mexican tax returns- Coordinate the Mexican fiscal year process- Attend to any information or audit requirements for Mexican government institutions.**Requirements and skills**:- Previous experience in employee supervision.- Experience with US and Canadian companies, an asset.- Previous experience in a multi-currency environment, with intercompany transactions.- Ability to interact with people at all levels in a positive, sensitive and effective way.- Dependable, hands-on, autonomous and action driven.- Ability to meet deadlines and manage priorities.- Facility to perform in a remote environment.**Degree**: Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.**Software**: Microsoft D365 is an asset.
