As a leader in the industry, we strive for flawless financial operations and rely on ambitious professionals like you to compete in the global market.**Responsibilities**:- Demonstrate exceptional knowledge of accounting and tax regulations in Mexico, ensuring strict compliance with local laws and regulations.- Lead meetings with collaborators and external consultants to align strategies, discuss financial matters, and provide updates on accounting and tax-related issues.- Collaborate effectively with various departments, fostering fluent communication and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.- Contribute to the reconciliation of accounts and preparation of technical reports, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting principles.- Support external and internal audits, providing necessary documentation and addressing any audit-related inquiries.- Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting and tax regulations in Mexico, and determine the impact on our organization.**Requirements**:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field, or equivalent experience.- Advanced knowledge of accounting and tax rules specific to Mexico, including experience with local tax compliance and reporting requirements.- Proven experience working with shared services, preferably in an accounting or tax-related role.- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to lead meetings and effectively communicate with collaborators and external consultants.- Experience in external and internal audits, including the ability to provide necessary documentation and address inquiries.- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.- Fluent interpersonal skills in both English and Spanish.Join us at Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. and be part of a team that is making the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.
