Accounting Assistant

**Job Summary**

The Accounting Assistant is a customer service focused individual that will serve as a partner to other leaders in the organization to bridge gaps, lead and drive change to optimize team performance, and ensure the data integrity of the financial system.
**Responsibilities**
- Establish, monitor and enforce accounting policies and procedures in accordance with GAAP standards and regulatory requirements
- Ensure revenue and expenses are recorded accurately and timely
- Guide and mentor accounting personnel
- Control and review journal entries
- Reconcile bank statements
- Supervise the preparation of monthly financial statements
- Monitor AR and AP systems to ensure process and procedures are followed
- Work with management to develop operating and capital budgets

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- Four years of corporate accounting experience
- Possess strong organizational, problem-solving and communication skills
- Must possess extreme attention to detail
- Can be a leader and maintain a positive and professional attitude

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to $50,000.00 per month
