Accounting Assistant

**Duties and Responsabilities**:

- Handle reconciliations and general ledger
- Assist with AP coding and GL coding
- Maintain and protect the organization's confidentiality by keeping information confidential
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor, the Controller, and/or the Finance Director/CFO

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in accounting (recently graduated/student)
- Able to work well under rigorous deadlines
- Teamwork Oriented
- Excellent interpersonal and human relations skills and an aptitude for communicating with funding staff and across the organization with employees, department managers & directors
- Able to demonstrate good organizational and time management skills
- Detail oriented and thorough
- Excellent numerical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel Skills, Outlook
- Demonstrate ability to adhere to strict confidentiality
- Bilingual Spanish and English

**Working Conditions**:

- General office working conditions. Initially the person in this role will be working full-time at the Tijuana Office with the possibility of becoming a hybrid role. Weekend availability is required during the end of month closing.
