LPI de Mexico, a subsidiary of Lifetime Products, Inc, is hiring for a dynamic, driven person to join the accounting team as an accounting clerk. This position will be focused on the accounts receivable side of the business dealing mainly with LPI de Mexico transactions and will be part of an accounting team at the Monterrey, Mexico facility. This position will report to the accounting team in Utah and will have the support of the corporate accounting team and the potential for additional work assigned from the corporate team. This position requires full time attendance at company offices in Apodaca, NLEssential**Responsibilities**:- Compiles, sorts, and reviews documents such as invoices and checks, substantiating business transactions- Verifies and posts details of business transactions to customer portals- Prepares customer invoices in company ERP system and government invoicing system in a timely manner for shipments to be processed- Reconciles reports to find discrepancies and problems- Compiles month end documentation and statistical data- Assist in semi-annual physical inventory count- Assist in standardizing work and streamlining processes/proceduresSkills and Competencies- Team Work - Balances team and individual responsibilities, puts success of team above own interests, and supports everyone's efforts to succeed- Professionalism - Treats others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position, and accepts responsibility for actions- Willingness to learn and improve work environment and processes- Ability to think critically, solve problems, and investigate anomalies- Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 a plus- Proficient in Excel - preferably Lifetime Excel Training course completion- Prior accounting experience preferred but not requiredEducation Requirement- High School Diploma required, additional accounting training a plus but not required- Conversational English skills requiredThis position is an onsite position, at our Monterrey Mexico facility.
