Working at KAMAX México means being part of a dynamic team committed to success, where we value the professional and personal growth of our employees.Job Objective:To manage the accounting team of 2 direct reports who are responsible for accounts payable and accounts receivable.To complete all tax reporting in compliance with tax law.To forecast and manage cash.To assist in providing accurate month end and year end reporting, according to local GAAP and the KAMAX Accounting Policy.Primary Responsibilities:Create journal entries, account reconciliations and reports, in order to effect accurate monthly and year end reporting.Maintain fixed assets.Coordinate yearly financial audit.Prepare yearly consolidation package.Prepare weekly cash flow forecast.Assist external tax advisors to complete tax returns; be able to handle tax topics.Manage VAT and ensure on-time recovery.Prepare/review accounts receivable aging and accounts payable aging.Implement and maintain internal controls.Manage 2 direct reports: provide training, guidance and review of work productEnsure development of skills and competencies of accounting personnelOther tasks as required.QualificationsEducational BackgroundBSc/BA or Masters Degree Bachelor or Master Degree in Accounting.Work Experience5 years+ relevant experience3 years+ automotive industry expertise is a plusProven experience in leading a team of 2 or 3 employees.Professional KnowledgeProfessional knowledge of SAP FI / CO .Strong knowledge of local GAAP and basic knowledge of international GAAPProfessional Knowledge MS-Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point relational databases and SAP.Professional knowledge of local tax regulations (income tax, IVA and withholding tax).Experience in dealing with tax authoritiesSoft Skills:Structured working styleSelf-driven (ability to work independently)Good communication skillsStrong personal accountabilityLanguage Skills:Spanish- Business FluentEnglish - Business FluentGerman - Hepful#J-18808-Ljbffr
