In this role, you will lead a team of accountants, collaborate with key stakeholders, and oversee critical financial processes to ensure successful client outcomes. This is a hands-on role, and your expertise in GAAP, QuickBooks Online, and team leadership will play a pivotal role in our company's continued success.Key Responsibilities:- Lead Financial Processes: Oversee day-to-day financial statement preparation and ensure accurate accounting records, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, payroll, tax filing, and bank reconciliations, in compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor the accounting team, providing feedback and identifying growth opportunities. Develop team talent and collaborate with the hiring team to recruit new accountants.- Client Support & Reporting: Assist clients in the monthly and annual close processes, prepare accurate financial reports, and guide them through audits.- Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs): Create and implement SOPs to improve bookkeeping processes and financial reporting across the team.- Process Improvement: Develop initiatives to improve the onboarding process for new clients and optimize bookkeeping workflows.- Cross-department Collaboration: Work with the Tax, Sales, and Maintenance Bookkeeping teams to ensure alignment on client expectations, tax compliance, and process efficiency.- Metrics & KPIs: Measure and monitor departmental metrics and KPIs, ensuring team output aligns with company growth goals.- Stay Current on GAAP Changes: Keep up to date with new accounting standards and regulations, evaluating their potential impact on the companyQualifications:- CPA Is required- 5 to 7 Years experience in accounting.- Ability to obtain QuickBooks Certification within the first two months of hire.- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.- Proven experience in leading and mentoring team members,- Experience working with Tax professional and compliance or strategy purposes- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of QuickBooks Online and Excel.- Bilingual: Proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus.- Remote Work Requirements:- A minimum of two monitors for optimal productivity.- A quiet and dedicated workspace conducive to remote work.- A reliable, high-speed internet connection for smooth communication and task execution
