We're looking for people who think big, act fearlessly, and create an inclusive environment that drives positive impact to join our team.**Responsibilities**:The Mexico Accounting Manager will serve as a leader of accounting for Viasat's entities in Mexico, directing broad aspects of global operations, including establishment of accounting processes and practices for emerging markets, and accounting operations. Must be a self-starter and work with limited direction who takes full ownership of the areas of responsibility and provides solutions and alternatives.- Assist in day-to-day accounting operations in coordination with local outsourced accounting processing team and local / US-based Viasat team members- Support monthly financial close process and prepare monthly reconciliations of consumer billing, wholesale billing and community Wi-Fi services divisions.- Assist in preparation and review of tax / statutory financial filings in conjunction with accounting, tax and legal teams- Review, reconcile and prepare partner commissions and fulfillment activities of the consumer services and community Wi-Fi activities- Support financial management of Viasat Mexico Fixed Broadband revenue, earnings and capital expenditures- Due diligence activities with new and existing partners and vendors- Perform financial due diligence on proposed contracts / amendments in support of local operations- Assist in the preparation and review of monthly and quarterly management reporting packages (both financial and key performance indicator); host review forums and manage action item resolution- Develop and maintain key business process flows to ensure operational efficiency and compliance with regulatory requirements- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational innovation; regularly interact withbusiness leaders and senior level management**Requirements**:- 8+ years' experience in accounting roles- CPC / CPA / MBA or equivalent- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or other quantitative discipline- Advanced Excel skills- Recent experience with Mexico consumer billing activities requirements, payment practices, regulations, tax reforms, and banking practices- Business level fluency in both English and Spanish (oral and written)- Working knowledge of NIF, familiarity with U.S. GAAP, and IFRS- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and focus on accuracy- Self-starter with ability to work independently while understanding the importance of elevating questions/concerns promptly**Preferences**- ERP proficiency, ideally SAP / Hyperion / Oracle- Prior U.S
